**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our sanitation and plant production departments.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the implementation of our plant-specific mission to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with our corporate vision.
- Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies are met, and that our products are produced to the highest standards.
- Promote employee engagement and development to maximize safety, manufacturing, quality, and productivity goals.
- Collaborate directly with production planning and materials management to increase scheduled completion and customer service.
- Temporarily fill the role of Plant Manager as needed.
- Communicate directly with Human Resources to ensure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved.
- Collaborate with finance to create a capital budget to ensure that financial allocations and obligations are set, administered, and met.
- Initiate cost savings measures relating to crewing, standards, and yields.
- Play an important role in our labor management committee, addressing union concerns and ensuring a positive working relationship.
**Requirements**
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 24/7 accountability.
- 3-5 years of management experience.
- Experience in a unionized food manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business, industrial management, engineering, food science, management, product operations, or an equivalent field of study.
