Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a talented Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. This esteemed hospital is a community hospital located in East Harlem and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. Our staff is comprised of full-time faculty OBGYN Generalists, as well as subspecialists, including Urogynecologists and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeons. Metropolitan Hospital features a Level III NICU, state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery suites, a dedicated Postpartum pavilion, and an AIUM-certified ultrasound unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 900 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Responsibilities:
Direct MFM care to underserved, high-risk patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform MFM procedures, such as amniocentesis and cerclage. Oversee the work of the MFM PA and teach and mentor Residents and Medical Students. Academic affiliation with faculty appointment available. Call coverage for night and weekend MFM consultations.
Qualifications:
Board Certification or Eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Exceptional Benefits Include:
Competitive compensation package, 10% 401K company contribution after one year of service, with 3% company contribution starting day one, choice of a three-tiered medical plan starting day one, excellent dental insurance, including orthodontics coverage starting day one, generous paid time off program, CME days and dollars, eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center, and visa candidates are considered. Annual salary is $400,000 for Board Eligible and $410,000 for Board Certified status.
