Caregiver Specialist

KVC Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
Job Responsibilities- Provide transportation and visitation support to clients as needed, utilizing fleet vehicles when available.
- Supervise parent-child and sibling visits, assessing progress in family functioning and providing constructive feedback.
- Present a positive role model for clients and families, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, including housing, utilities, mental health services, and healthcare.
- Teach daily living skills, such as budgeting, housekeeping, and parenting techniques, to empower clients and families.
- Offer in-home support to children and families, addressing specific needs and concerns.
- Maintain accurate case activity logs, ensuring timely submission and adherence to contract requirements.
- Participate in case management meetings, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Attend court hearings as required, presenting professionally and communicating effectively on behalf of clients and families.
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field (High School diploma or GED acceptable with relevant experience).
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle insurance.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
