About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Therapist Specialist to join our team at Merrimack Autism Consultants LLC.

This part-time position involves providing one-on-one in-home ABA services to families affected by autism spectrum disorders and other developmental or behavioral disorders.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.

About the Job

The successful candidate will work directly with clients using individualized behavior analytic techniques created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Therapy sessions will be held in the client's home and sometimes in the community, requiring flexibility and reliability.

You will provide support and guidance to parents or caregivers to implement the behavior reduction and/or skills acquisition plan.

A key aspect of this role is collecting data daily to monitor progress and ensure program objectives are met.

Requirements
  • 18 years old or older
  • Registered Behavior Therapist or 3 months of experience working with children with autism
  • Dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Associates degree in human, social, or educational services or completed a bachelor's degree in psychology or behavior management
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $18.00 to $24.00 per hour.
