Position Overview
Regional Medical Center of Memphis is actively seeking a Clinical Pharmacist (Infusion) for our specialty pharmacy services. This role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from an accredited institution and completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program. A PGY2 Residency is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive clinical services, including:

  • Delivering drug information and conducting thorough evaluations of drug therapies for healthcare professionals.
  • Ensuring the safe and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Reviewing patient medical histories and pharmaceutical records to monitor drug interactions and adverse reactions.
  • Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to address inquiries related to patient medication regimens.
  • Conducting pharmacotherapy consultations and recommending appropriate drug therapies.
  • Monitoring drug therapy for cost-effectiveness and suggesting potential savings to healthcare providers.

Professional Development
You will be expected to engage in ongoing professional development, which includes:

  • Participating in research initiatives and presenting findings to peers.
  • Coordinating educational sessions for medical staff and pharmacy residents.
  • Staying informed about state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Operational Duties

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
