Position Overview: This role is essential for enhancing revenue generation at designated retail locations through the execution of marketing strategies, training initiatives, and merchandising duties. The number of stores under management will vary based on regional factors and store performance, typically encompassing 3 to 5 locations, with an average of 4 stores per territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store personnel and management.
  • Actively promote and showcase the brand's strengths to store associates and customers, identifying competitive advantages and weaknesses.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track sales interactions and store visits, while also gathering competitive intelligence.
  • Organize contractor events to highlight products and drive sales.
  • Ensure that promotional materials, pricing, and signage are accurately displayed in each store.
  • Create and implement an Annual Growth Plan (AGP) for assigned stores to achieve or surpass sales and profit objectives.

Training:

  • Conduct product knowledge training sessions for both current and newly hired associates, covering product features, benefits, and selling techniques.
  • Facilitate sales training for new and existing store staff.
  • Provide training on promotional displays and effective customer engagement techniques.
  • Educate associates on equipment usage and address any product or inventory issues that arise.

Service:

  • Assist store staff with paint mixing and tinting as required.
  • Conduct product reviews to ensure proper stock levels and presentation.
  • Engage in sales outreach to local contractors and builders to promote professional paint sales.

Merchandising:

  • Maintain effective signage and merchandising displays throughout the store.
  • Order necessary collateral materials to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Review and manage profit and loss statements, focusing on expense control and budget management.
  • Support fellow sales representatives as needed.
  • Participate in required conference calls and training sessions.
  • Complete necessary documentation and reports in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and communicate effectively throughout the workday.
  • May require travel to various locations for meetings and training.
