Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality-related role
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at the time of hire
  • Ability to pass a physical test and background screening
  • Willingness to work any shift and cross-train as needed
  • Physical demands include standing, stooping, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, prepare, and organize data samples for the Metallurgist
  • Conduct in-line testing during the casting process
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy records of chemistries
  • Input data into the Syteline ERP system
  • Document instances of Non-Conformances
  • Manage Alloy Inventory
  • Perform ultrasonic inspections of ingots for center-line and radial cracks
  • Execute final inspections of products as required
  • Identify and communicate problems, assisting in their resolution
  • Utilize judgment and decision-making skills to prevent errors and safety hazards

Ability to read and interpret operational documents, including maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and quality guidelines is essential. Ultrasonic Level 1 certification is preferred.
