We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Weld Inspector / NDT Level II UT Inspector to join our team at Warren Fabricating. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in weld inspection and non-destructive testing, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in fabricating inspection with a concentration on weld examination. You will be responsible for performing NDE inspections on items, components, and assemblies, and for maintaining NDE equipment in clean, organized, and operational condition.
We offer a competitive salary of $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications, as well as a range of benefits including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, and a 401k company match up to 5%. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform NDE inspections on items, components, and assemblies
- Maintain NDE equipment in clean, organized, and operational condition
- Ensure that project specifications and inspections are accomplished in a timely and accurate manner
- Report Non-conforming Material Reports and corrective actions to the shop supervisor and Director of Quality Assurance
- Assist quality and production teams with root cause analysis
Requirements:
- Must be currently certified CWI and Level II UT with 500 Inspection hours logged
- Ability to read and interpret detail assembly and installation blueprints
- Ability to write clear and detailed inspection reports
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
