Perioperative Assistant

Virtua Health is seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will provide essential support to our medical staff and patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
Responsibilities- Provide basic care services, including patient transport, specimen handling, and equipment management.
- Assist with OR set-up and cleaning, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients.
- Transport and handle essential equipment, following established policies and procedures.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory, ensuring adequate supplies for the perioperative area.
- Collaborate with the Products Coordinator to unpack and deliver supplies from the warehouse.
- Previous patient care experience and skills preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- BLS Certification required.
