Nurse Practitioner

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency Services
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months
The Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features state-of-the-art design and technology, with 29 private treatment rooms and a comfortable waiting area. The department also includes a behavioral health treatment pod and a CT scanner for early diagnosis of conditions such as strokes and heart attacks.
