  • Ability to adhere to instructions effectively
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions with suitable attire
  • Flexible availability, including potential overnight care
  • Commitment to a minimum six-month tenure
  • Genuine love for animals
  • Access to reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and a clean driving history
  • Strong self-management capabilities
  • Ability to walk significant distances daily and manage dogs safely
  • Basic knowledge of first aid
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Marketing skills are a plus
  • Must possess a cell phone with texting capability and be computer literate

Physical Requirements:

Activity Level: Heavy. Duties include walking, lifting, bending, and kneeling, with daily walking distances of up to 10 miles and occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.

Work Environment:

Primarily outdoors.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Pet First Aid/CPR training course is required
  • Continuous education in animal behavior is encouraged
