GAMUT Behavioral Services is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Educational Behavior Support Specialists.
Our students face a range of social and behavioral obstacles, making a genuine commitment to this role essential. While prior experience in special education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), autism support, childcare, or similar fields is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
We provide comprehensive training for the right candidates. This role involves working closely with students in an educational environment. What is School-Based ABA? ABA therapy utilizes a scientific approach to understand and modify behavior in practical settings. The primary objective is to enhance positive behaviors while reducing those that are detrimental or hinder learning.
In the school-based ABA framework, each child benefits from personalized, one-on-one assistance from a trained Behavior Technician, also known as a Special Education Classroom Aid, 1-1 Support, Behavior Interventionist, or Paraprofessional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized objectives developed by a special education teacher and/or BCBA.
- Collect measurable data essential for evaluating the effectiveness of the behavioral plan in meeting established goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred experience includes ABA, autism support, behavior management, special education, and classroom assistance.

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices for timely documentation.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal history background check and all necessary clearances.
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS:
All documentation must be completed prior to starting, including:
- PA Criminal History Record Check
- FBI Fingerprint Background Check
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- TB Screening
- Educational Documentation (Diploma or Transcripts)
