Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute journal entries with precision.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank and other accounts.
  • Assist in various accounting and financial functions, including:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Billing
    • Collections
    • Bank Deposits
  • Support the management of client matters associated with the Finance Department.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform general ledger account analysis.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve client inquiries effectively.
  • Safeguard the firm's integrity by maintaining confidentiality of information.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Two to three years of foundational accounting experience in a professional services setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and possess advanced skills in Excel.
  • A motivated self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Rippe/Surepoint is a plus.
  • Experience with accounting software is required.
  • Prior interaction with law firms or professional services clients is advantageous.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented work ethic is essential.
