Utility Construction Project Leader

Role Summary: The Project Supervisor for Utility Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of utility construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold all company policies, OSHA regulations, and relevant industry standards.
- Establish daily objectives and expectations in collaboration with the project Foreman.
- Understand the project contract scope, including both standard and unique provisions, technical specifications, payment terms, and scheduling milestones.
- Monitor and communicate any changes in project scope to the Project Manager.
- Procure necessary materials for the project as per the purchase order, with authorization for additional materials up to $500.00.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative documentation, including safety audits, time entry approvals, and production reviews.
- Authorize all invoices, receipts, and fuel charges promptly.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and termination processes for crew members.
- Enhance personal, technical, and supervisory skills through development plans and training opportunities.
- Promote and embody the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Complete safety training as required for the position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Valid DOT health card.
- Experience in utility construction.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and correspondence.
- Proficiency in using computers and electronic devices.
- Capability to read blueprints and adhere to job specifications.
