Job Summary

The Senior Data Engineer will play a key role in the development of a leading Wealth Management Platform at Raymond James Financial Incorporated. This position will be responsible for designing, building, and launching efficient and reliable data infrastructure to scale and compute to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable and reliable Data Integration solutions that are flexible, scalable, and elastic.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Service developers to build optimal and efficient ETL and Database code.
  • Produce dynamic, data-driven solutions to support the strategic business goals.
  • Act as an Application Support specialist for critical production applications and optimize the batch flow to meet the defined SLA's.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree and three to five years of relevant development or engineering experience.
  • Experience with ETL Tools, ODI, and Database Platforms, including Oracle and AWS Redshift.
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to think out-of-the-box.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus across teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform under pressure.
