Your Role:The Patient Advocate position necessitates exceptional customer service abilities and the capacity to engage with diverse individuals.

This role involves representing the patient's interests within the healthcare team, particularly understanding the anxiety that patients and their families may experience during hospitalization.

Empathy, compassion, and professionalism are essential, especially when addressing upset or distressed patients and family members. Collaborating with department leaders to resolve issues is a key aspect of this role.


Your Contributions to the Team:
  • Demonstrated service skills with the ability to communicate sensitively across various situations and personality types.
  • Capability to establish trust and rapport while effectively troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Aptitude for managing stressful situations with urgency, multitasking, and adapting to change.
  • Addressing patient complaints and collaborating with directors for resolution.
  • Maintaining a log of patient complaints and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Valid State of Florida RN License
