Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA certification
  • A valid State Speech Language Pathology License

It is essential for all Speech Language Pathologists to hold a state license. PDS offers support through the licensing process for those who may need assistance.

Daily Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your primary focus will be on improving the communication abilities of children. This meaningful work is crucial for their success in educational settings and beyond.

Your daily tasks will include:
  • Providing high-quality services tailored to students' IEPs/504 plans
  • Conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Writing detailed reports to identify strengths and areas for improvement in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills
