Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Educational Development to design and implement engaging STEM learning sessions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of computer science, coding, and digital arts concepts to effectively instruct students.
  • Assist students in developing their skills in coding languages such as Scratch, Blockly, Swift, and Python.
  • Teach students how to use digital video editing skills to create promotional videos.
  • Collect and analyze data to drive future instruction and improve student outcomes.
  • Work independently to apply critical thinking skills and problem-solving to various situations.
  • Instruct students of varying skill and experience levels in multiple programs based on interest and ability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching and/or tutoring experience, with a focus on computer science and coding.
  • Extensive experience in computer science and/or coding, with a strong understanding of programming languages and digital arts concepts.
