Job Overview

Work Schedule: (3x12 hour shifts: 7a-7p / 7p-7a)

Position Summary:
The Critical Care Registered Nurse is tasked with the independent application of the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic, and efficient care for a designated group of patients, adhering to company policies, procedures, and all regulatory standards.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

  • Valid California RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Specialty certification (CCRN, Trauma) is preferred
  • Completion of a Critical Care course or equivalent experience is preferred

Educational Background:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred

Professional Experience:

  • At least 1 year of ICU experience in an acute care hospital is required
  • Experience in Cardio-Vascular (open heart) care is preferred
  • Experience in Trauma Care is preferred
  • 1 year of EPIC system experience is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
