As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Ambercare, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implement plans of care initiated by registered nurses.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely.
  • Assess and educate patients and their caregivers on self-care techniques and information relevant to their diagnosis and care plan.
  • Participate in the coordination of home health services and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Use and prepare equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently, adhering to aseptic technique.
  • Participate in personal and professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program.
  • Three years of nursing experience, preferably in community or home health settings.
  • Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate automobile insurance.
