Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team at JBT Corporation. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for utilizing manufacturing documentation to carry out production tasks, perform quality inspections, and operate various machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production and Inspection: Carry out production tasks and perform 1st piece inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate machinery, ensuring all materials are readily available, and operate saws, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, deburring tools, grinders, and other power tools.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Utilize manufacturing documentation to translate engineering documents into logical processes and analyze detailed part drawings to convert them into measurements for production.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products and process non-conforming materials according to procedures, meet time and schedule standards for assigned work, and correctly process work through required paperwork and MRP systems.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean workspace, comply with all safety rules and regulations, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Advanced blueprint reading skills
  • Experience with Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL)
  • Knowledge and experience in at least three or more of the following areas: Routing interpretation, Horizontal Boring, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Manual Turning, Manual Milling, and Layout
