Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, painting, and refrigeration operations to ensure the smooth operation of our commercial and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to work requests by performing and completing general facilities repairs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and repair various machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and wearing protective equipment as required.
  • Perform routine checks and evaluate necessary maintenance to the facilities to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for facilities improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain and organize spare parts and consumables to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Perform minor construction and installation of fixtures and accessories as needed.
  • Train internal team members on maintenance and repair procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notifying appropriate personnel and following safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance and repairs.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a building maintenance field required (i.e., electrical, carpentry, plumbing).
  • Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.
  • Certification of apprenticeship in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and/or refrigeration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient English skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and general stakeholders in initiatives.
  • Ability to read reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to create and compose written materials with proper English grammar and punctuation.
Pay Range

$22.00 to $26.00/hr.
