Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team at Schomp Automotive Group. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that all vehicles are repaired and serviced to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring that all vehicles are repaired and serviced in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervise and train service technicians to ensure that they are working to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the service department is operating within budget.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the service department.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are repaired and serviced to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the business are working together seamlessly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring that they are satisfied with the service they receive.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in an automotive repair facility.
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
