Position Summary:
New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a distinguished healthcare provider seeking a CT Imaging Specialist to become part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will perform CT scans, X-ray imaging, and bone density assessments to assist in the diagnosis of various medical conditions. This position offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling options.

Primary Duties:

  • Communicate procedures to patients to ensure understanding and alleviate concerns.
  • Conduct CT scans, X-ray imaging, and bone density tests in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support the scheduling of examinations and secure necessary pre-authorizations.
  • Initiate intravenous lines and administer contrast agents as required.
  • Keep accurate records and logs of all procedures performed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of equipment and workspaces.
  • Provide emergency care, including CPR and first aid, when necessary.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
  • Manage time effectively within your area and assist colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure (Required): Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • Education (Required): Associate's Degree
  • No prior experience is necessary. Must demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and service excellence.
