About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of $65,000 per year for this position. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and hold ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment to ensure efficient meal preparation.
  • Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner to meet customer satisfaction standards.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary to prevent stockouts.
  • Follow all food safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures to maintain a well-organized workspace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management to support the team's goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification is a must-have for this position.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure is crucial for meeting customer demands.
  • Excellent time management skills are necessary for maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
