The Bioinformatics Specialist will play a critical role in our research team at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Key responsibilities include analyzing molecular biology/genetics data, designing experiments, and developing computational algorithms/software for next-generation sequencing studies.

You will leverage your expertise in mutation calling using WES/WGS, copy number estimation using WES/WGS, and RNAseq analyses to drive our research forward. Experience with single-cell sequencing analysis is welcome, but not required. Additionally, you will help maintain software tools and deployments.

This position comes with a salary range of $130,000 - $190,000 per year, based on experience. If you have a strong foundation in bioinformatics and a passion for molecular biology, we encourage you to apply.
