Job Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiative at Davis Strategic Innovations, Inc. This position requires strong systems analysis and integration skills, with a focus on MBSE tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of MBSE tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems engineering processes
  • Develop and maintain system requirements and design documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience
  • OR a Master's Degree with 3 years of experience (not to exceed 10 years of total experience)
  • Recent experience in system analysis and/or integration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a Systems Thinking mindset
  • Proficiency in IBM Rational DOORS system software
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an integrated team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced experience with requirements test automation and verification traceability
  • MBSE experience using Cameo
  • Familiarity with automated testing processes
  • Experience working on Missile Defense programs
  • Advanced proficiency with DOORS
  • Experience using Atlassian Tools
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and best practices
  • Experience in Product Owner or Scrum Master roles
