Commercial HVAC Estimator and Sales Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Estimator/Sales Support professional to join our team at Comfort Supply, Inc. As a key member of our Commercial Sales Department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team with day-to-day management of new and existing customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Commercial Sales Department with the management of new and existing customer accounts.
- Introduce new products to our customer base of engineers, mechanical contractors, and after-market end users.
- Review customer plans and job specifications to develop bids, submittals, and take-offs for commercial projects.
- Provide technical support and application information to customers on our product lines.
- Drive new business opportunities by responding to customer inquiries and marketing our products and services.
- Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to drive sales closure rates.
- Maintain pre- and post-sales job files.
- Interact extensively with the sales team, customers, and manufacturers via phone and email.
- Travel as needed with the sales team to job sites, trade shows, vendor training, and customer training.
- Maintain an expert level of product knowledge and applications across our growing line card.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience and/or a college degree preferred.
- Commercial HVAC industry experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a high-intensity atmosphere.
- Excellent customer service skills, able to respond with a sense of urgency in high-pressure situations.
- Proficient with computers: MS Office, CRM software.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to utilize 3rd party HVAC equipment selection programs and software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years old, and eligible to work in the US.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
