Job Overview

Astrix Technology LLC is seeking a highly skilled DNA Microarray Technician to join their team in a cutting-edge research company.

This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $55k-$65k, depending on experience, and a 1st shift M-F schedule.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a talented team, participate in the development of new analytical techniques, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform DNA extraction, quantitation, and quality control assays
  • Process extracted DNA samples on microarray platforms
  • Analyze data, ensure quality of results, and deliver results to stakeholders
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, manage supplies and reagents inventory, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with the team to develop, validate, and implement new analytical techniques

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in forensic/array research is preferred
