DNA Microassay Technician

Pay: $55k-$65k (depending on experience)

Schedule: 1st shift M-F

Microarray Technician daily tasks:

• Perform DNA extraction from multiple sources
• Perform DNA quantitation and other QC assays
• Process extracted DNA samples on microarray platform
• Perform data analysis, QC of results, and results delivery
• Participate in the development, validation, and implementation of new analytical techniques
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Monitor and maintain laboratory supplies and reagents inventory
• Maintain accurate records according to laboratory operating procedures
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information

Microarray Technician Requirements:

• B.S. in Molecular Biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related.
• 2+ years of forensic/array experience is preferred
