Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct/PT Nursing Faculty member to join our team at Education Affiliates. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching nursing courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach nursing courses to students, develop and implement curriculum, and assess student learning outcomes.
  • Student Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and develop individualized remediation plans as needed.
  • Faculty Collaboration: Work effectively with other faculty members to meet student needs, participate in faculty meetings, and contribute to program committees.
  • Program Evaluation and Improvement: Participate in ongoing program evaluation activities, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the Dean/Director of Nursing to implement changes.
  • Clinical Instruction: Provide clinical instruction to students in approved health care settings, adhering to policies of the clinical setting and the College.
  • Continuing Professional Growth: Provide annual documentation of continuing professional growth at the employee's expense.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an approved nursing education program resulting in a Master of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Experience: Four years of experience in a clinical setting as a registered nurse.
  • Licensure: Current active unencumbered license as a registered nurse in the state of Virginia or multi-state privilege to practice in state.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills, excellent teaching and classroom management skills, functional abilities to carry out classroom, clinical, and laboratory teaching responsibilities, competence in clinical skills in areas of teaching, and competent in personal computer applications.
Classification and Work Hours

This is a Part-time position with hours varying daily and including evening/weekend hours.
