Job Description

As a Medical Director/Center Physician at CSL Plasma, you will provide medical oversight to Medical Staff Associates, ensuring the highest standards of medical care and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the health and safety of donors and ensuring the quality of our plasma products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical oversight to Medical Staff Associates, including training and evaluation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations, including CLIA and FDA requirements
  • Review and approve medical incident reports and donor suitability
  • Conduct confidential and effective interviews with donors to obtain information
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to employee, donor, and center records
  • Oversee maintenance of medical supplies and emergency equipment
  • Collaborate with Center Manager and Compliance Specialist to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
  • Current and active medical license in the state where the Center is located
  • One year of residency training as an MD or OD
  • Familiarity with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and company Plasma Operating Procedures
Working Conditions:
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Overnight travel required up to 75% of the time without lengthy lead-time
