Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to find a highly skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. This role will be a hybrid position with 3 days/week remote.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
  • Review transactions for proper revenue recognition accounting treatment.
  • Prepare and review SEC 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K filings.
  • Research and resolve various accounting and SEC reporting issues and inquiries.
  • Liaise with external auditors and assist with the annual audit and quarterly reviews.
  • Analyze financial results and create management reports.
  • Assist with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Research and implement new accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or better in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with multi-tiered consolidations.
  • Experience with consolidated financial systems, internal and external financial reporting, and consolidated financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting and auditing standards.
