About the role: Senior Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team at SDL Search Partners. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general ledger accounting and a strong understanding of complex areas such as fixed assets, variance analysis, and budgeting.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for performing month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations. They will also be involved in high-volume fixed-asset accounting, analyzing P&L and expense variances, and contributing to the annual audit procedure.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of complex GAAP accounting experience. They will also have intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with process improvements and systems implementations.

- Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- High-volume fixed-asset accounting, including depreciation schedules, purchases, and disposals
- Analyze P&L and expense variances
- Contribute to the annual audit procedure
- Ensure accurate US GAAP accounting standards are met
- Play a key role in implementing new ERP systems
- Support the Controller with ad-hoc projects as needed
