Server Job Description

Larks Entertainment is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information about our offerings.
  • Order Management: Accurately take food and drink orders, suggest menu items, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Service Delivery: Serve food and beverages promptly and correctly, ensuring that all orders meet our quality standards.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff, bar personnel, and management to ensure efficient service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
  • Guest Interaction: Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere by interacting with guests, answering questions, and handling any issues that arise with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Keep work areas, tables, and the patio tidy and organized. Ensure that all necessary supplies are stocked and available.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines and check IDs as required.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a server or similar role in a high-energy environment is preferred but not required. We're willing to train the right candidates.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of food and beverage pairings, and familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
  • Attributes: Positive attitude, team player, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry trays, and handle a high volume of orders.
