Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring they receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure students meet their goals.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive the support they need.
  • Offer Professional Development: Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CO State License: Hold a CO state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate: Possess an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in School Setting: Have experience working in a school setting, preferably with students with speech and language challenges.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
