Emergency Room Nurse

We are seeking a skilled ER Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including triage, screening, preparation for examination, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Provide general nursing care, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, and maintain and review patients' records.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
- Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential.
