About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate X-Ray Technician to join our team at American Family Care Castle Rock. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our rapidly expanding clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic x-rays and assist with patient care and treatment
  • Operate X-ray systems and maintain a basic understanding of digital X-ray services
  • Triage emergent patients and provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming experience
  • Register patients, handle front office administrative tasks, and back office responsibilities
  • Take vital signs, complete triage, and prepare equipment for patient examinations
  • Document patient data and ensure accurate and timely completion of ordered tests
  • Explain prescribed procedures and treatments to patients and maintain awareness of their comfort and needs
  • Administer injections, IVs, and phlebotomy as directed by the provider
  • Assist providers with discharging patients and maintaining a clean and organized environment
Requirements
  • Limited Scope X-ray (LSRT) certificate or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certificate
  • One year of experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred
  • Basic medical assisting experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of digital x-ray services and universal precautions, HIPAA, and OSHA concepts
  • Strong clinical skills, work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
