About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Surgical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide exposure, assist with hemostasis, skin closure, and other technical tasks as needed.
  • Support the mission and goals of the department and hospital through various duties.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of experience and/or completion of a Surgical Assistant program preferred.
  • Maintain current CPR certification and registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine.
