The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a professional and efficient manner. As a key member of our team, you will assist with procedures, plan and implement care interventions, and promote a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with medical procedures and exams, preparing patients for treatment and explaining procedures and medications.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV therapy, as needed and within the scope of licensure.
- Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as wound dressing, catheterizations, and applying compresses.
- Collect and process specimens accurately, and clean and prepare medical treatment rooms for patient visits.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Graduate of LPN school program.
- Current licensure as LPN in state of New York and/or Connecticut.
- IV and/or phlebotomy skills preferred.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse.
