Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service Focus: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers, even in difficult situations.
  • Workflow Supervision: Supervise the workflow for the service staff and delegate workload to staff effectively.
  • Budget Management: Meet and exceed budget expectations for expenditures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies, materials, and tools as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Problem-Solving: Diagnose problems and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Landscaping and Snow Removal: Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Service Request Fulfillment: Perform service requests correctly and promptly.
  • Technological Proficiency: Operate computers and other technological devices to access email and company-utilized software.
  • Leadership: Proven leader, forward thinker, innovative, and driven, with a strong ability to execute Elmington's non-negotiables for service work orders and vacant turn times.
The Essentials
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • Certification: EPA/HVAC/CPO certification preferred/required.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills.
  • Maintenance: Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Tool Proficiency: Utilize hand tools and power tools.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform building maintenance and repairs.
  • Flexibility: Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Time Management: Accurately report all time worked by clocking in before beginning to work and out only when done working.
  • Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures.

  • Compensation: Pay Range: $24-$28.
