Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the daily and long-term needs of residents.
  • Administer and document medications in accordance with physician directives and facility protocols.
  • Perform treatments and dressing changes as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safe nursing practices.
  • Maintain accurate and professional charting in accordance with facility policies.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding health status, treatments, and appointments.
  • Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure residents receive the correct medications.
  • Oversee nursing functions within the assigned unit or team.
  • Provide hands-on care to residents as required and undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Proof of current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally as needed.
