Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to enhance our healthcare services at Regency Care of Arlington. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, outstanding communication abilities, and a valid state LPN license. In this role, you will deliver essential medical assistance to our clients while maintaining a secure and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the daily and long-term requirements of residents.
  • Administer and document medications in accordance with physician directives, facility protocols, and safe nursing practices.
  • Perform treatments and dressings while accurately recording actions per physician orders and facility guidelines.
  • Ensure meticulous and professional charting in accordance with policy.
  • Engage in communication with residents and their families regarding health status, treatments, and appointments.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy services to guarantee appropriate medication for each resident.
  • Oversee all nursing operations within the assigned unit or team.
  • Provide hands-on care to residents as necessary and fulfill additional duties as required.
Qualifications Required
  • Valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the facility.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel locally as needed.
