Position Overview:
In this role, you will operate under general supervision to deliver prompt and courteous food service to our guests. You will be responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of assigned events, ensuring a safe and efficient process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to understand setup requirements.
  • Prepare tables in the designated area accurately and consistently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at your station while serving guests according to established guidelines.
  • Utilize proper techniques for clearing tables and managing buffet setups.
  • Assist the Lead Banquet Server with event preparations and breakdowns.
  • Welcome and serve guests, adhering to food and beverage service standards.
  • Follow all procedures for handling guest checks and monetary transactions.
  • Complete assigned side work tasks efficiently.
  • Remain attentive to guests throughout their dining experience, consistently meeting or exceeding service expectations.
  • Be flexible with scheduling, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Local travel may be required for off-site catering events.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: A minimum of three months in a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of customer service principles and food service operations.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include the ability to lift and carry various items, maneuver in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

  • Ability to lift trays and other equipment as needed.
  • Capability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Work Environment:
This role requires physical stamina, including prolonged standing and walking in a predominantly indoor setting. The environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures.
