Job Title: Senior Salesforce Software Developer

Job Description:

Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Software Developer to join one of our federal projects supporting the Department of Transportation in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your previous Salesforce development experience and expertise. Your in-depth understanding of state models will be used to build workflow applications used to integrate external data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernize the capabilities offered by the National Consumer Complaint Database using the Salesforce Platform.
  • Provide an avenue to consumers, drivers, and industry professionals to submit a complaint through various channels and track the complaint through its lifecycle.
  • Authenticate internal FMCSA users using the DOT MyAccess solution and users external to FMCSA.
  • Implement a workflow that tracks the complaint as it moves through the handling process and allows FMCSA personnel to respond to complaints in an effective manner.
  • Integrate with the data platform to store and/or retrieve information relevant to the complaint.
  • Migrate the existing complaint data to the new platform.
  • Utilize Mulesoft's Anypoint Platform to design, develop, and orchestrate APIs and implement the new data exchange platform for FMCSA.
  • Work closely with the Software Architect and other technical team members, government stakeholders, and subject matter experts in developing solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of previous development experience with 5+ years of experience with Apex and Visualforce.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience implementing in Platform, Service, and Experience Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of and detailed experience with architecture and API.
  • Experience integrating with other applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer credential required.
  • Experience using Mulesoft and data pipelines.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions Accredited Professional.

Preferred Certifications:
Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Architect, Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant

  • Currently hold a Public Trust clearance with the Department of Transportation.
