Job Title: Accounts Receivable Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team at Blue Star Partners LLC. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely collection of outstanding invoices for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collection and Follow-up: Contact customers on a daily basis to collect outstanding invoices and resolve payment disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accounting and Financial Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including research and resolution of payment issues, monthly billing process, and customer master maintenance.
  • Cash Flow Management: Enter cash receipts through the bank deposit and process credit card payments on a daily basis.
  • Support and Collaboration: Provide backup support to the Accounting Manager and work closely with management and sales representatives to resolve account status and problems.

Requirements:

  • Education: AA Accounting Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in AR and collections with a company that has annual revenue of at least $10 million.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting computer software, Excel, and Microsoft Word, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a driven, focused individual who can work independently and within a team environment. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet daily and weekly deadlines in a consistent fashion.
