Lead Utility Operations Supervisor

Job Overview
The Lead Utility Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the upkeep and sanitation of both front and back of house facilities. This role may involve supervising or assigning tasks to additional utility personnel. Responsibilities may differ based on client needs and operational requirements at various Aramark locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Instructs and mentors utility staff on their duties and essential safety and sanitation protocols.
- Guarantees customer satisfaction by ensuring all kitchenware, including dishes, pots, pans, silverware, and utensils, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Maintains cleanliness of dishwashing areas, three-compartment sinks, storage rooms, refrigerators, and related spaces.
- Ensures all equipment is clean and operational; reports any malfunctions to management.
- Performs light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
- Exhibits outstanding customer service and maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, and colleagues.
- Follows Aramark's safety policies and procedures, particularly regarding food safety and sanitation.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
Ability to apply sound judgment based on prior experience to address challenges.
Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
May serve as an informal mentor for less experienced staff.
Required to acquire comprehensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment, including but not limited to steamers, ovens, mixers, grills, and dishwashing machines.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of fundamental sanitation practices.
Physical Demands
This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
