About the Role:
Fulton Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Unit Manager in our Gloversville, NY facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the assigned unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement employee policies and procedures to promote a positive and productive work environment.
- Mentor and guide less experienced nurses, providing clinical and career advice to support their growth and development.
- Monitor and maintain the standards of care for the unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Review resident records and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with upper-level management to represent the unit's interests and promote a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
- Valid State RN License
- 3 years of Long Term Care experience (preferably)
- 2 years of Charge Nurse experience (preferably)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
