Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with admissions and sign-ins, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our patients.
  • Conduct safety checks and supervise patients at regular intervals, as per individualized supervision guidelines.
  • Document timely, accurate, and appropriate clinical information in patient records.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Interact with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
  • Oversee or assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene.
  • May obtain patient vital signs, height, and weight, as assigned, and document in patient records.
  • Facilitate patient educational-rehabilitative groups, covering topics such as social skills, coping skills, and independent living skills.
  • Engage patients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation, including incident reports and follow-up paperwork.
  • May provide transportation for patients or coordinate transportation with staff members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prefer one year of experience working with the specific population of the facility.
  • First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required.
  • May require a valid state driver's license in facilities where transporting patients is an essential function.
