Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Create and modify customer and manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, test procedures, work instructions, hydraulic schematics, and other related documents for mobile spool valve design.
  • Product Improvement: Design new components and assemblies to meet specific customer requirements and improve existing products.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Interface with the engineering lab to coordinate testing of prototypes and develop performance criteria for product test specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Initiate, update, and maintain systems and workflows for efficient product design and modify engineering documentation to correlate with current manufacturing and assembly methods.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to operations, manufacturing, and quality teams in the factory and communicate with customers and suppliers.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Participate with other departments to address manufacturing, design, or quality concerns and ensure the continuous improvement of designs and processes.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: 3D CAD proficiency using SolidWorks or similar, knowledge of drafting and geometric tolerancing practices, knowledge of hydraulic principles, valve types, and functions, understanding of hydraulic diagrams and symbols.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work well under time constraints and pressure, ability to work well independently and in group settings, logic-driven troubleshooting ability, strong attention to detail, and open mind to continuous learning.
